Alan has specialized in commercial real estate leasing and investment sales since graduating from college. He is a native of Atlanta whose family has been in the real estate business for over 50 years. Before starting Joel & Granot Real Estate, Alan was the top-producing broker for five consecutive years at a large national commercial real estate company in Atlanta and had his firm for over 10 years.

Alan attended the University of Georgia on a swimming scholarship and in 1981 he was selected as a member of the United States team to participate in the Maccabia Games held in Tel Aviv, Israel. In 2004, Alan received the prestigious Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Alvin B. Cates Award for the most outstanding real estate transaction of the year. In 2010, Alan was President of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors; a 2,500-member organization. In 2011, he was named Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors’ Realtor of the Year. Alan served as President for Corfac International, a global network of the world’s leading independently-owned commercial real estate brokerage firms, and is currently serving on the Ga CCIM Chapter board of directors.
