Since 2003, Charles L. Wilson, MAI CCIM MRICS has been providing advisory services to small and medium sized enterprises seeking to maximize the full potential of their real estate investments.   His primary emphasis is on valuation and valuation management for institutional grade and SME real estate assets including hotel, retail shopping center, multifamily, student housing, manufactured housing, office, industrial, and land property types.
Currently, Charles is employed as a Senior Manager in the Real Estate Valuation and Advisory practice at BDO USA PC. Prior positions include senior valuation and advisory positions with Houlihan Lokey, Altus Group and the Los Angeles County Assessor.

Charles is a certified general real estate appraiser and MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute where he is on the Litigation and Valuation of Sustainable Buildings Registries.  Charles is also a licensed real estate broker, and a CCIM designated member of the CCIM Institute.  Additionally, Charles is a MRICS designated member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and holds a membership with the Real Estate Executive Council, Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and NAIOP.

Charles has a Master of Business Administration degree where his studies emphasized the sustainability of business organizations, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, both from California State University Long Beach.
