Professional Profile

John Hsu has had a passion for real estate industry as far back as 1988. While continuing his passion, John became an UCLA alumnus holding a BA degree in Business Economics with a minor in Account and a MBA from Pepperdine with a concentration in Management & Investments. John is currently the Officer and CEO of STC Management, a professional asset management corporation, CEO of Dara Inc., a leader in national distribution of beauty and textile products, as well as the CEO and Founder of STC Foundation, a Non-Profit organization dedicated to helping people understand and appreciate the beauty of Asian and Chinese Culture.

Under John’s guidance, STC Management has expanded rapidly to become the first Asian firm in the United States to receive the Accredited Management Organization designation. John creates value for clients through a combination of managing, leasing and brokering real estate investments. STC Management’s transaction volume exceeded $100 million in value for the year of 2016, and currently leases a total aggregate space of over 3,000,000 square feet, while managing a portfolio with an excess of $1.5 billion in commercial properties within Southern California alone. Today, STC Management is the largest and most respected commercial real estate firm in the Southern California Chinese community.

John believes that supporting the community is also just as important in creating a brighter future. STC Management’s three core tenets of Health, Love, and Wisdom perfectly represents John’s successes and beliefs, as John continuously strives to bring positive energy and influence to his surroundings. With his mindset, John participates actively in many community associations including the San Gabriel Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club of Hacienda Heights, the Rowland Heights Chinese Association, and many more organizations. John’s involvement in the community has brought him a great deal of respect, earning him many awards such as Accredited Management Organization of the Year from IREM, Asian Business Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal, Entrepreneur of the Year from the San Gabriel Valley Civic Alliance, and the Small Business Award from California Republican.
