Kimberly Baker, CCIM, received her CCIM designation in 2004 at the CCIM exam in Charlotte after beginning the course requirements in 2002. Her career in real estate began in 1978 before she graduated from high school with summer employment at a real estate office. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from Murray State University which she completed while parenting three young children. Since 1999, managing Baker Commercial Real Estate has been a natural fit for her skillset and relationship development interests. Along with managing the brokerage, Baker also managed a portfolio of investments valued at $3 to $4 million. Her work resume includes Banking and UPS Worldwide Logistics/Accounting. In 2017, she was a member of the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development class where relationships formed and are still challenging her to be at her professional best. Currently, she serves as the secretary of the CCIM Foundation Board and chairman of the scholarship committee. She is the 2020 Kentucky CCIM Chapter President and Region 7 RVP for 2021.

Kimberly Baker CCIM has been honored as a national 2nd Place winner of CCIM’s President’s Cup award for
the Kentucky CCIM Chapter, where Baker served as chapter president in 2020.
The CCIM Institute honors nine individuals annually in three tier categories. Those who are selected demonstrate the highest degree of skill, ingenuity, and innovation in promoting the CCIM Institute brand at the local and regional levels.
CCIM stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member. A designee has completed
graduate-level coursework in financial and market analysis and has demonstrated extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. The CCIM Institute provides the highest ethical standards and quality educational programs to members.
Baker has worked in the commercial real estate industry for 15 years in the
Louisville/Southern Indiana market. In addition to serving as the 2020 CCIM Kentucky Chapter president, she has served on the chapter’s board in various roles, including conference committee chair, secretary, and vice president.
The President’s Cup Awards were announced at CCIM Institute’s Midyear Governance
Meeting held virtually in Spring of 2021.
